All work undertaken by Ruby & Bloom Paper Co is carried out in accordance with the following Terms & Conditions.
Payment Terms
A £50.00 retainer fee is required to secure your wedding date with Ruby & Bloom Paper Co and payment is considered acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. This non-refundable deposit confirms your booking and allocates the necessary resource to fulfil the design and production requirements of your wedding stationery. The sum of £50.00 will be deducted from the balance when the final invoice is due to be paid. For bespoke stationery, a payment of 50% of the invoice total is required before any design work is undertaken. The remaining balance is due before items of stationery are sent to print. Separate invoices will be issued for items that require to be sent to the Client earlier in the process such as Save the Dates or later, such as ‘on the day’ stationery. Invoices must be paid in full until before items are sent to print. It is the responsibility of the Client to attend to invoice payments in a timely manner in order to prevent delays with the print, production and delivery process.
Design & Print Terms
Ruby & Bloom Paper Co reserves the right to refuse any work where a Client requests a design that copies or partially copies another designers work. Clients are welcome to provide reference and inspiration images but are encouraged not to rely on images of the work of other stationers in their inspiration imagery. Due to the nature of the print process and the variation of screens, exact colour matches cannot be guaranteed.
Copyright
All copyright remains with Ruby & Bloom Paper Co. Under no circumstances may the designs be reproduced, reprinted or used in any commercial or non-commercial activity of any kind other than the purpose of the wedding of the Client. All designs and artwork components remain the intellectual property of Ruby & Bloom Paper Co indefinitely unless a release license is purchased by the Client. Custom artwork for bespoke invitation suites can, unless a pre-agreement is made in writing, be used for future semi-custom collection suites. Ruby & Bloom reserves the right to photograph items of stationery for marketing purposes. Under no circumstances will full addresses be shown in images.
Proofs
Proofs will be provided to the Client for approval by PDF. Three rounds of proofs are permitted without charge. In the event that further changes are required, a small additional fee will be charged for each further proof. It is the responsibility of the Client to carefully check all aspects of the proof especially in relation to spelling, grammar and timing details. This requirement covers all stationery items including guest details for envelope addressing and place cards. You are strongly encouraged to check all proofs as fully as possible as changes cannot be made once the items have been sent to print. The Client should also be mindful that delays in providing feedback on proofs will delay the overall process and delivery. Ruby & Bloom Paper Co cannot be held responsible for delays incurred in this respect.
Postponement & Cancellation
In the event of a postponement or cancellation, contact should be made with Ruby & Bloom Paper Co as soon as possible. Every effort will be made to assist where possible in respect of rescheduling dates but this is not a guarantee. Cancellations and postponements must be provided in writing by email. The Client will be invoiced for all design and artwork undertaken thus far, including bespoke artwork. Items of stationery that have already been sent to print, and therefore invoiced, cannot be refunded. Where re-prints are required, the costs shall be met by the Client. Refunds are exercised at the full discretion of Ruby & Bloom Paper Co and are not an obligation.
Postage & Delivery
Ruby & Bloom Paper Co will post all items of stationery to the Client via a recorded delivery service or courier. All delivery costs are the responsibility of the Client and are itemised on invoices. Where the Client wishes for a particular provider to be used, this should be discussed with Ruby & Bloom Paper Co so that arrangements can be made. Import fees, taxes and customs charges are the responsibility of the Client and are out-with the control of Ruby & Bloom Paper Co. Items will be packaged as securely and as safely as possible with every effort made to ensure your stationery arrives in perfect condition. Once the parcel has left Ruby & Bloom, the responsibility lies with the delivery partner. Therefore, Ruby & Bloom Paper Co will not be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred. Parcels are photographed before they leave the care of Ruby & Bloom Paper Co.
Privacy
The privacy of Clients and potential Clients of Ruby & Bloom is fully respected and is handled in accordance with data protection law. These terms are set out in full in our Privacy Policy which can be found here.
