Ruby & Bloom is able to ship your wedding stationery anywhere in the world.
Here you will find some additional details about how everything usually works when shipping invitations to couples living overseas from here in the UK.
Of course! With most of our international clients residing in the United States of America, we have lots of experience in shipping to the US and do so on a regular basis.
Shipping costs are always discussed with overseas couples in advance and is dependent on the total weight. In the case of US clients for example, I usually suggest Fedex international priority shipping as this usually is the fastest and most cost effective method but when the time comes to organise the shipping, I always give my couples a choice of a few carriers to allow them to choose their preference. An invoice will be raised for the shipping costs and your parcel will make its way to you as soon as possible. Any import charges/customs tax are handled by your home country as usual.
Soon after you let me know that you would like to secure your place in my diary, you will receive a form to help you gather all of your information conveniently in one place. It makes things nice and easy and allows you to tell me what you would like to order (number of guests, number of inserts, colours etc). In the same form, you can order beautiful finishing touches such as wax seals or silk ribbons in addition to providing all the wording you would like included in your invitation suite.
Depending on when booking takes place, we will either agree a start date in the future to work on your stationery and a deposit will be taken to secure your place in my diary, or we will move towards starting work on your stationery suite as soon as possible. In this instance, an invoice will be drawn up based on what you have selected in the form and work will begin on your invitations at the same time.
During the next part of the design process, you will receive realistic preview mockups in the form of a pretty flat lay photograph before we move forward with printing so that you can see how the suite looks as a whole. All invoices must be paid in full before printing can take place. Once your designs are approved and any adjustments that may be required are taken care of, it is time for your suite to be professionally printed and carefully packaged up. Any finishing touches requiring assembly such as ribbons will be taken care of at this point. Your stationery suite will then make its way safely and securely to your home, ready for you to share with your family and friends.
Absolutely! I regularly send 'day of' goods overseas. Almost everything that can be produced by Ruby & Bloom can be shipped internationally. Here is an example list of some items that can be easily shipped:
- place cards/escort cards
- menus
- table names
- bespoke signage
- bar menus
- signature cocktail artwork
- reserved seating tags
- ceremony programs
...and almost anything else!
The only items that are unable to be shipped is large scale table plans/seating charts. However, it is always worth discussing your ideas with me because there is usually something we can do to address this.
For my overseas Clients, I usually set up the invoice so that you can make a payment with a payment card directly from the invoice via Stripe. This tends to be the most convenient way, particularly in the US so that you don't have to organise a bank transfer/wire. If wire transfer or using a platform such as Paypal works better for you, just let me know.
Unless otherwise agreed, all invoices will be set up in GBP (£) and in line with Ruby & Bloom's current pricing guide on the main website. Stripe payments will have a small transaction charge added on (4%) due to their own charges and this will be reflected in the invoice.
I usually only send sample packs internally here in the UK as they end up being more expensive for my clients overseas but if you would feel more comfortable receiving a pack of samples first, please get in touch and we can discuss the costs of this. Pricing will depend on your location but I also can send close-up photography of the various pieces that would be received in the sample pack, including images that show the different paper types.
Your wedding stationery can be sent anywhere in the world, providing there are no legal restrictions preventing shipping.
